The NFL combine is in full swing and the Chargers have had some meetings with players in Indianapolis. Of the names mentioned today, there seems to be a theme; the Chargers met with a few quarterbacks. Most notably Oklahoma St. QB Mason Rudolph who not only spoke with the team at the Senior Bowl but also met the team’s current QB, Philip Rivers.
Mason Rudolph says he spoke with the Chargers at the Senior Bowl last month. Also said he met with Philip Rivers a few weeks ago and would embrace the opportunity to be his heir apparent.

Does this count? Not sure but it’s close enough that’s worth mentioning. Logan Woodside might be a name that gets confirmed later in the week, for now, it’s a “maybe.”
Toledo QB Logan Woodside says he has met with pretty much every team this week except the Patriots.

We also have kicker news! The Chargers met with one the better kicker prospects in the draft Eddy Pineiro.
Florida kicker Eddy Pineiro said he realistically think he can make an 80-yard field goal. He met with the #Chargers this week and the team told him they’re looking to draft a kicker
