We got some insight on some of the prospects the Chargers have met with.

The NFL combine is in full swing and the Chargers have had some meetings with players in Indianapolis. Of the names mentioned today, there seems to be a theme; the Chargers met with a few quarterbacks. Most notably Oklahoma St. QB Mason Rudolph who not only spoke with the team at the Senior Bowl but also met the team’s current QB, Philip Rivers.

The team also had talked with the Richmond QB Kyle Lauletta at the Senior Bowl.

The third quarterback prospect mentioned also had his second meeting with the team this week, it’s the quarterback out of Memphis: Riley Ferguson.

Does this count? Not sure but it’s close enough that’s worth mentioning. Logan Woodside might be a name that gets confirmed later in the week, for now, it’s a “maybe.”

We also have kicker news! The Chargers met with one the better kicker prospects in the draft Eddy Pineiro.
