The Chargers have announced today that they have signed restricted free agents Geremy Davis and Nick Dzubnar. The latter was to a two-year deal while the former was signed for only one year.
Davis, a wide receiver, had been largely inactive during the 2017 season getting time in only two regular-season games.
Dzubnar, a linebacker, is one of the better special teams players in the National Football League. He led the league in special teams tackles with 21. He has been with the team since 2015 when he signed as an undrafted free agent. it is rarely a good sign for the team if he is on the field as a linebacker, but his special teams play is valuable and that is one fewer thing the team will have to worry about as they head into free agency now that they know he will be on the roster for the next two seasons.
