Orlando Brown - OT - Oklahoma
- Height - 6’7 7/8 in.
- Weight - 345 lbs.
- Hand Size - 9 6/8 in.
- Arm Length - 35 in.
- Wingspan - 85 1/8 in.
One of the more frequent offensive linemen mocked to the Bolts, Orlando Brown is a mountain of a man that would immediately increase the intimidation factor of any offensive line that he joins. The son of a former NFL lineman by the same name, Brown measured in as the largest linemen at the combine by far. Standing just a hair under 6’8 and 345 pounds, he is tied for second tallest (Mike McGlinchey of Notre Dame) and has 18 pounds on the second heaviest linemen (Will Hernandez of Utep).
Will Hernandez - OG - UTEP
- Height - 6’2 3/8 in.
- Weight - 327 lbs.
- Hand Size - 9 7/8 in.
- Arm Length - 32 in.
- Wingspan - 77 6/8 in.
One of the most intimidating linemen in the entire class, Will Hernandez is a brick s!@#-house that should strike fear into the hearts of defensive linemen across the league. During my time in Mobile for the Senior Bowl, I walked by the likes of Tyrell Crosby, Alex Cappa, and Isaiah Wynn. None of them made me feel like a teeny-tiny human the way Hernandez did. For a guy under 6’3, Hernandez has above-average hand size and his film is littered with moments where he snatches blitzing linebackers straight off their path. It should be noted that Hernandez was 340 pounds when he was measured in Mobile. Looks like he is attempting to lean up a bit, which isn’t the worst thing a lineman can do at his size.
Mike McGlinchey - OT - Notre Dame
- Height - 6’7 7/8 in.
- Weight - 309 lbs.
- Hand Size - 10 in.
- Arm Length - 34 in.
- Wingspan - 81 in.
Mike McGlinchey is one half of the dynamic duo that was the left side of Notre Dame’s offensive line in 2017. Tied for the second tallest lineman in the class with OU’s Orlando Brown, McGlinchey is about 36 pounds lighter but this shouldn’t be viewed as a negative. McGlinchey is one of the most athletic tackles in this class on top of being one of the most fundamentally sound. His hand size, arm length, and wingspan are all consistently near the top of the class, as well. If a team wants a safe bet in their first-round pick, McGlinchey is that guy.
Isaiah Wynn - OG - Georgia
- Height - 6’2 6/8
- Weight - 313 lbs.
- Hand Size - 8 4/8 in.
- Arm Length - 33 3/8 in.
- Wingspan - 78 7/8 in.
Isaiah Wynn was a highly touted prospect prior to Mobile, but he did himself a favor or two with his play during Senior Bowl. Wynn earned himself the Offensive Linemen of the Week award and it all but solidified himself as a first-round selection in this year’s draft. Although he came away with some of the worst measurables in the entire position class, Wynn has displayed crazy athleticism for a man his size. I mean, he has been a left tackle his entire career at that height. That’s gotta stand for something as he’s been the blindside protector for one of the best teams in the country over the last several years.
