The Los Angeles Chargers pulled off one of the greatest and most meaningful comebacks in franchise history last night as they went into Kansas City and shocked the Chiefs in primetime. I don’t think any of us will get that image of Mike Williams standing alone in the end zone waiting for Philip Rivers’ pass to arrive out of our heads any time soon.

It was an incredible game that will be an inflection point in an already incredible season.

Philip Rivers now holds the career NFL record for most 14+ point comebacks. The Chiefs’ unbearable 9-game head to head winning streak has been snapped. Patrick Mahomes had to stop with that obnoxious smirk of his for at least one evening. Anthony Lynn showed the world that he plays to win. It was a great night for Chargers football.
