Los Angeles Chargers vs. Arizona Cardinals open thread

Last weekend, the Los Angeles Chargers (7-3) suffered a disappointing loss to their division rivals when they hosted the Denver Broncos (4-6). Today, they will host the Arizona Cardinals (2-8) led by running back David Johnson.

The Chargers will be without Brandon Mebane and Corey Liuget along the interior of their defensive line and Denzel Perryman in the middle of the front seven. They will likely need to put pressure on the Cardinals to throw the ball by scoring when they are on offense because they could be in trouble if the Cardinals are allowed to stick by their running game.

Scoring should not be too much of a problem for the Chargers, however, as Melvin Gordon and Tyrell Williams were both deemed healthy enough to play this afternoon. They will be joined by Philip Rivers, who is in the midst of a career year, Keenan Allen, Mike Williams, and Austin Ekeler. They should have more than enough firepower offensively to force the Cardinals to air the ball out to keep up.
