Los Angeles Chargers superstar defensive end Joey Bosa is expected to return from the injury that has kept him out all season against division rivals the Denver Broncos. Ian Rapoport reports via Twitter:
At long last, #Chargers star DE Joey Bosa should be back on a football field. Sources say Bosa is expected to play against the #Broncos Sunday — for the first time all season. They’ll judge his snaps by how he feels, as Bosa is recovering from bone bruise in his foot.

The Chargers defensive is a fringe top-10 defense already and the return of Bosa, one of the leagues best players, will surely have them playing at an even higher level. The secondary which has been stretched somewhat having to cover longer than they did last year will benefit a great deal from having both Melvin Ingram and Bosa rushing the quarterback on each play. The third-year edge defender out of Ohio State will also bolster the run defense as he is also a standout in that facet of the game.
One has to assume to that Bosa will be on a limited snap count this Sunday against the Broncos, but we can also expect that without setbacks he will be back to full strength for the stretch run as the Chargers make a push for the playoffs.
