Chargers waiver claims and practice squad tracker.

Who will the Chargers bring in from players that didn’t make the cut elsewhere.

Yesterday all 32 teams in the NFL had to cut around 37 players each to drop from 90 to 53. Today the waiver claims for those players are processed and teams will add a few players and fill out their 10 player practice squad.

The team will hopefully look to add a player at some of the following positions: Linebacker, Corner back, Offensive Line. Update, they’ve added a player to 2 of the 3 positions so far.

We will keep this page up to date with any news we see on practice squad players and waiver claims awarded to the Chargers. We will also update with the corresponding cuts that are made for any waiver claims awarded to the Chargers. I would expect those cuts to be practice squad candidates as the team obviously wants thema round.
