San Diego Chargers v New York Jets

3 takeaways from Chargers’ 24-10 loss vs. Chiefs - Will Reeve Jr
For a team desperate to get a win under its belt, not to mention trying to win over a fan base, this simply cannot happen, and general manager Tom Telesco might want to start thinking about who is the quarterback of the future is going to be.

Chargers announce sell out for Sunday’s game vs. Chiefs - Will Reeve Jr
After a preseason laden with public admonishment for its move from San Diego to Los Angeles, and plenty of rumblings about the early season attendance numbers, the Los Angeles Chargers mercifully announced a sellout for Sunday’s game against the Kansas City Chiefs, per ESPN’s Eric D. Williams.

Philip Rivers throws 3 INTs as Chargers fall to 0-3 in 'Battle for L.A.' - Eric Williams
According to ESPN Stats & Information research, it was Rivers' ninth career regular-season game with at least three interceptions, and six of them have come since the start of 2014. Rivers has the most such games in the NFL in that span.

Chargers, other teams reached out to free agent CB Darrelle Revis - Adam Schefter
The Chargers made contact with Revis before they placed Jason Verrett on injured reserve Saturday, which made it official that they are in need of help at cornerback. Verrett decided to undergo season-ending surgery on his left knee, a source told Schefter.

Chargers Interested In CB Darrelle Revis - Dallas Robinson
Revis still intends to play in 2017, per Schefter, although he hasn’t yet met with any clubs. Interest in Revis has been scant, as only two unidentified teams had inquired on Revis prior to the Chargers reaching out. Asking price could be an issue — because Revis is still earning $6MM from the Jets, he’d essentially have to play for free (unless a club is willing to sign him to a $6MM+ deal).
