Chiefs at Chargers Inactives: Joe Barksdale and Jerry Attaochu are inactive

Inactives for the Los Angeles Chargers game against the Kansas City Chiefs

NFL: Miami Dolphins at Los Angeles Chargers Jake Roth-USA TODAY Sports

The Chargers will be down their starting right tackle today as they play host to the division rival Kansas City Chiefs.

This is not good news for Philip Rivers and Melvin Gordon considering how good the defensive line of Kansas City is. Chris Hairston needs to step up and play well in Barksdale’s absence or its going to be a long day for the Bolts offense.

Defensive end Jerry Attaochu appears to be a healthy scratch today. Chris McCain has played exceptionally well so far, so it is not surprising to see him continue to get snaps over Attaochu.

Linebacker Hayes Pullard also will not suit up today against the Chiefs. The Chargers have been infatuated with Pullard this season, giving him more snaps than he probably should be getting. It will be interesting to see who gets those defensive snaps in his absence, Korey Toomer or Nick Dzubnar.

Finally, to nobody’s surprise, rookie Mike Williams will be confined to the sideline once again. The Clemson product was ruled out for this game a couple of days ago as he continues to ease his way back from a herniated disc.

The good news for today, Melvin Gordon will play today after being listed as questionable earlier this week.

That's it for this weeks inactives report. Enjoy the game everyone!
