SNF Open Thread: Oakland Raiders at Washington Redskins

Washington Redskins v Oakland Raiders

The 2-0 Oakland Raiders travel cross country to take on the Washington Redskins on Sunday Night Football. Excepting the Los Angeles Chargers, the AFC West is an incredibly competitive division and the Raiders can ill afford a misstep against the Redskins. Similarly, the Redskins are in the very competitive NFC East (excepting, of course, the New York Giants who are awful).

This should be an exciting game between two (at least theoretically) high-powered offenses. The Raiders feature Derek Carr, Amari Cooper, Michael Crabtree, and Marshawn Lynch. The Redskins offense is led by Kirk Cousins, Terrelle Pryor, Jordan Reed, and Chris Thompson. Neither defense is especially strong, but neither is a pushover.

Join us in rooting against the Raiders while discussing the game in the comments below. If the Raiders can win on the road in primetime they will have to be considered a strong contender to unseat the Kansas City Chiefs as the AFC West division champions.
