Leading up to the Los Angeles Chargers first home game of the season, edge defender Melvin Ingram was asked about what kind of problems Miami Dolphins quarterback Jay Cutler would present. L.A. Times sports writer Mike DiGiovanna reported his reply via Twitter:
#Chargers DE Melvin Ingram, asked what kind of problems #Dolphins QB Jay Cutler presents: "None. We don't see him as a problem for us."

It is encouraging to see that Ingram remains confident after the Chargers defense was so thoroughly embarrassed by the mediocre Denver Broncos passing game on Monday night, but one has to wonder if it is wise to offer such obvious bulletin board material ahead of a game.
While Jay Cutler is hardly a world beater, one could probably make a credible argument that he is a better passer than Trevor Siemian. It is also worth noting that Cutler’s last game against the Chargers went rather well for him. He completed 27 of 40 attempts for 345 yards and two touchdowns in a 22-19 win for the Chicago Bears.
