Indianapolis Colts at Los Angeles Rams

The Colts are without quarterback Andrew Luck to start the season, but the Rams are without Aaron Donald. Neither unit is the same without their stars, but the dropoff from Luck to Scott Tolzien is incredible. The Colts also have the misfortune of being without Vontae Davis on defense, so maybe this is where Jared Goff looks like an NFL quarterback.

Seattle Seahawks at Green Bay Packers

This has become somewhat of a rivalry over the years and these two teams remain favorites to make it to the NFC Conference Championship this season. The Seahawks are arguably the stronger team overall, but Aaron Rodgers is the best quarterback in the conference and this game is being played in Green Bay.

Carolina Panthers at San Francisco 49ers

Kyle Shanahan’s first regular season game with the 49ers will probably not be a positive result but it will be interesting to see how he features Carlos Hyde and Pierre Garcon this season. Cam Newton is returning from injury and this is one of the softest returns he could have asked for.
