Open Thread: Los Angeles Chargers at San Francisco 49ers

Tonight the Los Angeles Chargers travel to Levi’s Stadium in Santa Clara to take on the San Francisco 49ers in week 4 of the NFL preseason. You will not see the likes of Philip Rivers, Antonio Gates, or Melvin Gordon on the field tonight, but players like Austin Ekeler, Andre Williams, and Kenjon Barner will be battling it out for the last available spots on the 53 man roster.

It does not matter who wins this game just as it did not matter during the previous three weeks. All that matters is that the Chargers and 49ers make it through the game without losing any players to injury. And aside from that, you can just root for your favorite player on the bubble to have a big game and increase their odds of wearing lightning bolts next week and the rest of the season.
