The Los Angeles Chargers and San Francisco 49ers meet tonight in their fourth and final preseason game. We will not get to see many if any week 1 starters, but we will be getting extended looks at the players on the bubble.

I chatted briefly with David Fucillo of Niners Nation and he gave us some names to keep an eye on during the game. It just so happens that the 49ers actually have excessive depth at positions where the Chargers could still use some help.

The 49ers have some intriguing young offensive linemen that are pushing some of their veterans. If you're looking for interior offensive line help, Guards Zane Beadles and Brandon Fusco, and center Tim Barnes are all playing for their jobs on Thursday. UDFA Erik Magnuson could cost one of them a job, particularly Barnes. They are all worth a watch.

The 49ers defensive line is the deepest position, and there could be some decent talent available on Saturday. Most notably are Quinton Dial, Chris Jones, and Ronald Blair. One or two of them could make the roster, but it's entirely possible all three are cut. I could also see the team try and deal Dial, who is the most productive of the three.

Players to watch in the fourth quarter

Keep an eye on running back Raheem Mostert. He could end up playing earlier in the game, but he dominated in the second half against the Vikings. He has a chance at a roster spot, but could also just be a preseason all star. I think there's a decent chance he's released, but if he impresses again, maybe not.
