I hate NFL preseason games. I believe them to be a scam. I literally wrote about this way back in 2012...
And again in 2013...
My views on the matter haven’t exactly changed.
As a matter of fact, it’s been my go-to response for anyone complaining about low attendance at the first two NFL preseason games played at StubHub Center.
I can’t imagine paying money to go to one of these useless exhibition games so it’s not hard for me to see why only 21,000 or so people would be willing to do so, especially when you have a pretty good idea that Philip Rivers and Drew Brees aren’t going to play in the game and most of the important players will be kept out because they already got their work in against each other in joint practices during the week.
Anyway, I barely watched and then trying my best to recap this waste of time in today’s Locked On Chargers podcast. Enjoy!
