As he heads to Hall of Fame, LaDainian Tomlinson remains married to the game - Dan Woike
“He liked the Chicago Bears so he always found the Bears on TV,” Tomlinson said. “Being in Texas, football was like a religion. So watching football with my dad, I just kind of fell in love with it. Seeing Walter Payton play, I fell in love with him and wanted to be a running back because of [him].”

“It’s a great feeling to be immortalized,” Tomlinson admitted. “The thing that I can’t really get over is that the bust will last (hundreds) of years. That is amazing to me that 200, 300 years from now, my bust will still be there. People will look and have an idea of the impact that I had on the game of football.”
2017 Training Camp Preview: Running Backs - Ricky Henne
While he’s the only true fullback on the roster, Watt isn’t just a blocker. He proved last year he can get the job done with the ball in his hands, as evidenced by his 53-yard catch-and-run against the Denver Broncos. The 6-2, 234-pound Watt ended his rookie year with four catches for 83 yards. The team also fed him the ball on occasion in short-yardage situations.
2017 Training Camp Preview: Tight Ends - Ricky Henne
Versatile tight ends equally capable at blocking as they are catching passes are rare specimens in the modern NFL. Luckily, the Bolts have one of the best in the league in 22-year-old Hunter Henry. The 6-5, 250-pounder proved to be a complete player during his rookie year, leading all NFL tight ends with eight touchdown catches while opening holes for Melvin Gordon and company. Henry also caught 36 passes for 478 yards and experts note he is just scratching the surface.
