If you have been a fan of the Chargers for at least a decade, then you no doubt remember the magic of the 2006 season. A season that can be summed up perfectly with just two simple words: LaDainian Tomlinson. That was the year LT set the NFL record for most touchdowns scored in a single season (28 rushing, 2 receiving), and made sure nobody would ever forget his name as he etched it into pro-football history and the hearts of fans everywhere. There were so many things to love about the 2006 season. The 14-2 record, the gracefulness and sheer dominance of a young player leaving his mark on sports history, the iconic moment of LT being lifted onto the shoulders of his teammates while 70,000 fans roared just seconds after the Chargers great set the rushing TD record against the Denver Broncos, and of course, Lorenzo Neal falling down while attempting to lead the way for LT on the previously mentioned play.

It was a great time to be a Chargers fan. In honor of LaDainian Tomlinson’s birthday, which was on June 23rd, the NFL was kind enough to put together a montage of every Tomlinson touchdown from that historic season all for your viewing pleasure. You can find that video below. Enjoy the memories!
