Continuing the Mike Williams talk, this is interesting to think about. Which of the 3 receivers that went in the top 10 will have the worst rookie year?
Corey Davis was selected 5th overall. He has the least surrounding talent among the 3. That said, you'd think he'd receive the most attention out of everyone as well. He has Delanie Walker, Tajae Sharpe, and the Titans are a run heavy offense.
With the Chargers, Mike Williams has Keenan Allen, Antonio Gates, Tyrell Williams, Hunter Henry, and Travis Benjamin all getting targets. This could all change like that, though. Allen could go down. Gates could slow down. Henry could be used as a blocking tight end. Williams could plateau. There are all real options that could lead to Williams being forced into more early action that anticipated.
John Ross was selected a couple picks after Williams. In a somewhat similar situation to Williams, he's "buried" behind a very, very good receiver, a tight end, and some middling receivers with experience(though Tyrell is better than that.) A.J. Green missed six games last year and Tyler Eifert hasn't played a full season in four years. Ross might lose out targets to Cincinnati's running backs more than the other two but is also considerably better than the Bengals next wave of receivers.
