Dan Feeney Remains Chargers Only Unsigned 2017 NFL Draft Pick

NCAA Football: Indiana at Wake Forest Jeremy Brevard-USA TODAY Sports

The Los Angeles Chargers third-round draft pick, offensive lineman Dan Feeney out of Indiana, remains the only Chargers draft pick not have signed with the team. Feeney was considered by most people in and around the league to be a second-round talent and the Chargers by all accounts got themselves quite a steal landing him at the top of the third round. That he has not yet signed should not worry Chargers fans just yet. It is awfully unlikely that we are looking at another Joey Bosa situation (the third round is not exactly the third overall pick).

If anything, the most noteworthy thing happening with Feeney being the lone unsigned pick is that all of the Chargers other picks were signed without issue. And Feeney has been a full participant in offseason organized team activities so it is not as though he is in danger of falling behind. His agent is just trying to ensure that Feeney gets the most favorable deal possible.

How nice is it that this is the closest thing the Chargers have to a problem at the end of May?
