Show of hands, who here loves TED talks? For those of you don't know TED, you really should get to know TED. What TED talk are, again for those who don't know, are short lectures on an extremely wide array of topics. Many of the presentations are given by some of the top professionals in their field. Most are very entertaining and educational and well worth the time to watch.

My personal favorite is a talk given by Dr. Peter Attia, as he offers a different perspective on the obesity crisis in America. Just as a brief overview, Dr. Attia talks about how obesity is often seen as a cause of insulin resistance and type 2 diabetes. He then raises an interesting question, “What if obesity isn't the cause of insulin resistance, but is actually a symptom of a deeper problem”? You’ll have to watch it to get his reasoning. If the health sciences are of any interest to you, I highly recommend giving this lecture a watch.

Don't be afraid to pass around knowledge and share your favorite TED talk in the comments section. Or just discuss anything you want.
