My apologies if sometimes the topics I hang onto for a few days are the same ones that get hung onto by the local sports radio stations and personalities. I work in sports radio, I hear it all day long, and sometimes I feel their topics need to be addressed and put to rest.
The current topic that I wish would just go away (and this will be the last time I ever talk about it) is LaDainian Tomlinson and his relationship with the San Diego market, in parallel to his new position in helping the Los Angeles Chargers “Fight for L.A.”
LT does not belong to San Diego. In fact, he is a grown man who has lived and worked in Los Angeles (part-time) for years now. Also, he has a lot more value as a legendary face of the Chargers’ NFL franchise than he does in San Diego, as the legendary face of a team that left town.
Please, stop complaining about LT’s decision to cash a paycheck and continue his post-playing career.
Thanks for listening
