If this is true then it would mark the first bolts Thanksgiving game in almost five decades. The find the last time a player in a Chargers uniform was on the field during a Thanksgiving day game, you have to go all the way back to 1969 when the Chargers were still part of the AFL. And just in case you’re wondering, the Chargers beat the Houston Oilers in that game with a final score of 21-17.
How do you feel about the prospect of a Chargers game on Thanksgiving? Do you think they would be able to pull out a road win over the Dallas Cowboys? Let us know in the comments section.
