The Los Angeles Chargers’ standout edge defender Joey Bosa has not been at voluntary workouts according to the Los Angeles Times’ Dan Woike:
DE Joey Bosa again absent from Chargers voluntary workouts.

Some might be inclined to think this could be cause for concern, but it is not terribly unusual for players to skip voluntary workouts (they are voluntary after all) and Bosa, in particular, proved last year that he is capable of getting himself ready without the team during his extended holdout. Former Chargers beat writer Michael Gehlken (who now covers the Raiders) should put your mind even further to rest, though, with this tweet:
Bosa working with his trainer. Plans to be at every on-field workout, all OTAs. Team aware of his plan. Now, back to Raiders. https://t.co/hTcFwBz0Ks

It would appear that there is not any reason for Chargers fans or local media to get worked up about Bosa’s absence at this point in time. We will, of course, check back in during Organized Team Activities to see if he is present, but there is no reason to expect otherwise. Is it time for the draft yet?
