Chargers should make a run at Richard Sherman - Mike Florio
The bottom line on this one would be the bottom line, however. The Chargers need to thrive financially in Los Angeles. Until they can develop superstars who will excite the local fan base naturally, it makes sense to find a way to import a superstar or two. Importing a superstar who grew up locally, who has as strong a following as any defensive player in the NFL, and who will make the team better will make him worth every penny and then some in the critical early years of the Rams vs. Chargers fight for L.A.

After being cut 5 times, Trovon Reed has 'huge' chip on shoulder with Chargers - Mark Inabinett
Reed played wide receiver for his first three seasons at Auburn, switching to the secondary as a senior. With a full offseason ahead of him, Reed is looking forward to absorbing the finer points of playing cornerback.

Extra Points: Chargers, Colts, Bolles, Titans - Dallas Robinson
Although Philip Rivers hasn’t dropped any hints that he’s ready to retire, franchise owner Dean Spanos has told the Los Angeles front office to be prepared for Rivers’ eventual departure. New head coach Anthony Lynn expressed a similar sentiment at the end of last month. Thus far, the Chargers have worked out Notre Dame‘s DeShone Kizer and Tennessee‘s Joshua Dobbs, and are thought to have interest in Cal’s Davis Webb.

Tom Telesco should have no problem scouting for Gus Bradley's defense - Eric Williams
"I was in Indianapolis for a long time when we ran Tony Dungy’s defense," Telesco said in this conversation with Albert Breer of The MMQB. The conversation begins about 20 minutes in. "And there’s a lot of similarities between that and what Gus is going to run here, there’s a lot of carry over. And it’s something I’m used to scouting for."
