We just broke down the RFAs and ERFAs for the Chargers this year. The team tendered ILB Korey Toomer and WR Dontrelle Inman about an hour ago. Now we have more names that will be staying.
Chargers to retain RB Andre Williams, S Adrian Phillips and TE Sean McGrath, among others, as exclusive-rights FAs, sources said.

The price of each ERFA tender is $615,000. All of them are young enough and are under the threshold for playing time so would be practice squad candidates.
The team loves all 3 of these players. Phillips has been mediocre depth, but always sticks around. McGrath is extremely replaceable as he is both a poor blocker and below average receiver. Williams stands a decent chance to stick around again as well with the team letting Branden Oliver walk.
However, with the low investment cost, and the fact that this draft is deep at all 3 of those positions, they will need to really show out to keep a spot on the team.
It will be interesting to see which of the other 4 ERFAs also were given tenders.
