Los Angeles Chargers Announce Season Ticket Prices for the StubHub Center

There is sticker shock for season ticket holders as the Chargers reveal their prices.

The Los Angeles Chargers released season ticket prices for their first season at the StubHub Center. It is easily the smallest NFL stadium seating only 30,000 people. The small supply of seats is reflected in the pricing. In fact, the Chargers’ most expensive seat which clocks in at $375 per game is $150 more than the most expensive seat at a Rams game.

Tickets will actually start at $70 and the average price of a ticket will be $192. That is significantly more than the average price of a Rams game which came out to $104. The Rams, of course, have a seating capacity more than triple that of the Chargers.

In 2017, the Chargers will play host to the Philadelphia Eagles, Washington Redskins, Cleveland Browns, Buffalo Bills, Miami Dolphins, Denver Broncos, Kansas City Chiefs, and Oakland Raiders. We will learn the dates of these games when the NFL schedule is officially released in two months.

The Rams last year collected 45,000 season ticket deposits in their first two days and while the Chargers are not releasing any exact figures (no surprise there) they have asserted they are pleased with their progress.
