The Grammy awards were last night, and it got me thinking a lot about music. I mean, I already do, but slightly more so today. Whether you’re into the award show or not (I usually find myself fast-forwarding through the actual award presentations just trying to get to my favorite artist’s performances), a majority of us have been affected by the musical arts in some way shape or form.
I’ll listen to almost anything, but nothing gets me quite like a nice country tune. Be it the classics from George Strait and Hank Williams, or a newer sound from recent artists like Eric Church and Carrie Underwood. Nothing speaks to me like country music.
A couple of the other BFTB writers chimed in with their musical preferences (or lack thereof). Here’s what they had to say.
Louis Gorini: “My favorite is 90’s early 2000’s hip-hop, but I do love me some The Doors and club music too.”
Jamie Sewell: “I don’t really have a type. I’ll listen to most stuff that’s not jazz or classical.”
So, what or who do you find yourself listening to the most?
