Here are the players that will miss today’s Week 17 matchup for the Los Angeles Chargers as they welcome in the Las Vegas Raiders of Oakland:
Our #OAKvsLAC inactives:
— Los Angeles Chargers (@Chargers) December 31, 2017
QB C. Jones
WR G. Davis
S A. Phillips
RB R. Hansbrough
OT M. Ola
DT C. Liuget
DE J. Attaochu
Hansbrough being inactive is a fantastic sign, as it means that Melvin Gordon and the training staff are confident that his ailing ankle will hold up for the duration of today’s game.
Corey Liuget will miss his second consecutive game with a knee injury. He was certainly missed against the Kansas City Chiefs last week and the Raiders will likely run Marshawn Lynch more, seeing the type of success KC had with Kareem Hunt.
Adrian Phillips, who has been making plays (good and bad) in his limited time on the field this season, will miss this one with an ankle injury.
Remember, the Chargers have plenty to play for today. A win for them, and a loss by the Tennessee Titans to the Jacksonville Jaguars, opens up a world of possibilities that could see the Bolts traveling to Jacksonville next week to claim revenge for their Week 10 loss.
