What One Thing Would You Change About the Chargers Season?

NFL: Miami Dolphins at Los Angeles Chargers Orlando Ramirez-USA TODAY Sports

This week's theme week roundtable: “The one thing I would change about my team's season is ...” What would you change about the Chargers’ season?

Jamie Sewell: Deciding to go with Younghoe Koo over Josh Lambo. That decision alone would have given them at least possibly two extra wins. With a competent kicker, they'd have been a playoff team this year.

Michael Peterson: I thought we'd finally get through the year without using the "i-word" this much

Richard Wade: Building off Michael's thought, having Forrest Lamp and Denzel Perryman start the season healthy would have changed an awful lot about how this season has played out. They would probably be a playoff team by now.

Ryan Doyle: I️ think if the Chargers had a competent kicker to begin the season, they wouldn’t have been in such a terrible hole after the first four weeks. Even sneaking a 2-2 record to start the year would’ve put the Bolts in the playoff picture. 16 weeks in and the Chargers still haven’t found a kicker. Having stability at the position would have made life much easier for a rookie head coach.

Jamie Hoyle: If I were going to change one thing about this season it would be Anthony Lynn’s decision to kick a 50-yard FG on the Chargers opening drive in New England. First, I would challenge the spot on the third down pass to Gates, which I still believe was incorrect. Then, if it wasn’t reversed, I would have gone for it on 4th and 1 instead of kicking it. I have no doubt they score a touchdown on that drive if they go for it there and from there I think it’s a very different game.

I’d be willing to bet if someone asked him in private if there was one in-game decision he could have back this year, that would be it.

What’s the one thing you would change about the season? Let us know in the comments.
