The injury report is out for the both the Los Angeles Chargers and the Cleveland Browns in advance of their game on Sunday in Carson, California.
Are you ready for the Browns’ injury report? Are you sure? You better be ready, because if you blink you’re going to miss it...
Cleveland Browns
OUT - Sammie Coates, WR (Knee/Ankle)
Coates is either the 5th or 6th WR on the Browns’ depth chart, so this singular injury probably won’t affect them nearly as much as the lack of talent actually on the field for Cleveland.
Los Angeles Chargers
OUT - Mike Williams, WR (Knee)
QUESTIONABLE - Casey Hayward, CB (Calf/Personal)
QUESTIONABLE - Corey Liuget, DT (Toe)
QUESTIONABLE - Nick Novak, PK (Back)
I doubt there’s anyone else that gets as much joy out of Novak being referred to as a “Place Kicker” as I do, but more important is the fact that the Chargers probably don’t want to play this game without him and don’t have a tremendous backup plan if his back is acting up tomorrow....

Mike Williams, the 7th overall pick in the 2017 NFL Draft, missed the Chargers’ first 5 games and all of the preseason with a back/neck injury. After playing in 5 games, it’s disappointing to see him back on the injury report.
