In somewhat of an unexpected move, the 5-4 Bills have made a move at quarterback.
Bills HC Sean McDermott announced rookie Nathan Peterman will start Week 11 against Chargers. Tyrod Taylor to the bench.

When is the last time a team that was in a playoff hunt made a move at quarterback? I can’t remember. Taylor hasn’t been spectacular but he’s been far from bad. What’s interesting about this is that the Bills have given up alllll the rushing yards since they traded Marcel Dareus. It’s the defense that’s been hurting.
I mean, if Tyrod Taylor wanted to play, he shouldn’t have let the Saints run for 298 yards on him https://t.co/Vh6E0vDIUn

Take away thing's Tyrod Taylor does best and then bench him for a dip in his performance. Was plan all along https://t.co/Ccbv7jLipc

What Mike means is they’ve stopped using Taylor as a runner. LeSean McCoy has taken a hit from that as has the offense. The timing is so weird.
From a Chargers standpoint, the loss to Jacksonville stings even more now. If they pulled that out they likely beat the Bills if Philip Rivers suits up and just like that they’re in the playoff race. I think the loss to the Jaguars sealed their fate. I imagine the Chargers are going to put all kinds of pressure on Peterman and force their receivers to make a play 1-on-1.
Here’s a question that’s been brought up. Would you be interested in Taylor as a free agent or via trade?
