Chargers vs. Jaguars Inactives: Bolts Will Be Without Joe Barksdale Again

The Los Angeles Chargers are yet again without the services of their starting right tackle. Joe Barksdale will miss this game as he has missed the last several and Michael Schofield will be left to deal with the incredible Jacksonville Jaguars front.

Other notable names on the inactives list include former Jaguars linebacker Hayes Pullard and running back Branden Oliver. Pullard had been dealing with an injury and his absence is no surprise, though you imagine he badly wanted to play against his former team. Oliver is a healthy scratch with Andre Williams and Austin Ekeler getting to back up Melvin Gordon. Ekeler is simply a better running back at this point and Williams provides greater value on special teams.

The Jaguars are a tough matchup (especially at home) this season and the lack of a fully healthy offensive line is not going to help, but overall the Chargers are in relatively good shape heading into this game.
