The Chargers will be without starting right tackle Joe Barksdale when they kickoff against the Denver Broncos for the second time this season.

QB C. Jones
WR D. Inman
RB B. Oliver
T T. Marz
T J. Barksdale
TE S. Culkin
DT C. Liuget
It’s not ideal to be missing one of your starting tackles against arguably the leagues best pass rusher, Von Miller. But that's the position the Chargers find themselves in today, with Michael Schofield likely getting the start in Barksdale’s absence.
Defensive end Corey Liuget is the other member of the Chargers usual starting lineup that will miss today's matchup as he deals with a back injury. Darius Philon will get more work with Liuget unable to suit up. Philon has played well this season and getting him an increased number of snaps may prove beneficial for Gus Bradley’s defense.
Backup running back Branden Oliver will not play this afternoon, meaning rookie Austin Ekeler will get more playing time as Melvin Gordon's running mate. Ekeler, who is quickly becoming a fan favorite, has shown the propensity to bust out a big play or two every now and then. He should fill in nicely for Branden Oliver.
Another name to note on the inactive list is wide receiver, Dontrelle Inman. Inman was not listed on the team's injury report this week, so it could be that he is a healthy scratch as the coaches look to get rookie first round pick Mike Williams more involved in the offense.
To finish off with some positive news, Keenan Allen’s name is one that is missing from the official inactives list. Allen has been dealing with a shoulder issue throughout the week, but he will be out there for perhaps the most important game of the season to this point.
That's it for this week's inactive report, enjoy the game everyone!
