Good morning! The Los Angeles Chargers travel to Oakland today to take on the future Las Vegas Raiders, who have had trouble getting their offense in gear this year behind a shaky offensive line and a disappointing start to the season for running back Marshawn Lynch.
This week on the NFL Network’s Game Theory and Money podcast, hosted by numbers expert Cynthia Frelund and radio play-by-play voice of the Chargers Matt “Money” Smith”, there was a bit of talk about strengths and weaknesses in this matchup.
The Chargers’ biggest strength is their pass rush, and the Raiders’ biggest weakness on offense has been their ability to protect their QB. Their tackles will need help against Joey Bosa and Melvin Ingram. However, the strength of Marshawn Lynch (breaking tackles) has also been the weakness of the Chargers’ defense.
Something’s gotta give, right?
