I’m going to be honest. I know very little about the Oakland Raiders’ stadium situation. I know very little about their potential deal with Las Vegas. I know just enough to assume, as everyone else had, that it was a slam dunk for the team to move from Oakland to Las Vegas.
As of last night, that move seemed a little less likely. As of this morning, that move seems a lot less likely.
So, I did what I always do in these situations. I found someone who does understand the situation, I called them up, and I put the recorded conversation on a podcast to help other people that are interested in learning more about the situation.
Could the Raiders falling out with Las Vegas put them in a position to move to San Diego and renovate Qualcomm Stadium, as Mark Davis has previously threatened to do? Possibly, but it still seems unlikely.
Enjoy the podcast!
