Halfway through the 4th Quarter of a Week 3 game against the Indianapolis Colts, the San Diego Chargers appear ready to add another major starter to their list of players lost to injury for the season.
Here’s a look at what happened to Inside Linebacker Manti Te’o as he went out to cover a Running Back in the flat...
That’s not good. Non-contact injuries are usually the really bad injuries, the ones that follow with news of tears and lost seasons. That would be especially brutal for Te’o right now, with a rookie contract that expires this offseason and heading into his first free agency.
Chargers LB Manti Te'o unable to put any pressure on his left leg, as he receives help coming off field. Unbelievable. Every week.

Jatavis Brown will be filling Te’o spot in the defense today, and likely going forward. Joshua Perry, who is inactive today, will likely move into Brown’s role as the backup ILB when the team takes on the New Orleans Saints at Qualcomm Stadium next weekend.
