Open Thread: Jacksonville Jaguars at San Diego Chargers

You can and should discuss the Chargers' home opener here.

Logan Bowles-USA TODAY Sports

The San Diego Chargers started this season off in spectacularly awful fashion losing their most best wide receiver (Keenan Allen) to a torn ACL and choking away a 21-point lead on the road to the Kansas City Chiefs. Today they will try to defend their home turf against visiting Jacksonville Jaguars. The Jags are coming off a close loss to a very good Green Bay Packers team.

The Chargers have some notable weaknesses and the Jaguars match up well against them especially with their backs and tight ends. What will be interesting will be watching how the corners handle the challenge of Allen Robinson and Allen Hurns. That should be fun to watch all day.

Can the Chargers get their offense going without Keenan Allen? Will Tyrell Williams or Travis Benjamin emerge to take his place? Will Dontrelle Inman look like an NFL wide receiver? Hopefully, we can get some positive answers to some of these questions.
