I was blown away this weekend, watching a San Diego Chargers team that seemed more concerned with running time off the clock to try and steal a win than they were with scoring more points to dominate the game. It disgusted me and it took me back to when Tom Telesco and Mike McCoy were hired to try and fix this team.
The fact of the matter is that they haven’t made the team better, they’ve made it worse.
With poor leadership from Dean Spanos, poor decisions from John Spanos, and poor management from the team’s GM and Head Coach, it’s easy to see how the team has managed to win just 7 of their last 26 regular-season games. Quite simply, the team is not talented enough, not deep enough, and not well-coached enough to overcome those hurdles.
