Well, this is definitely a huge mood killer. As the Chargers are up on the Kansas City Chiefs by 2 scores as we head into the 4th quarter, we are now seeing reports that the initial diagnosis for Keenan Allen’s 1st half injury is a torn ACL.
Early diagnosis for Keenan Allen indeed is torn ACL, source says. Expected to miss rest of 2016 season: https://t.co/SEijPV6ZS9

I’m not gonna lie, actual tears came out of my face when I saw the clip of Allen getting carted off the field. Not sure if it was from the pain of the injury, or the pain of losing another chunk of a season, Allen was screaming and sobbing as he was carted off.
This is a huge blow to the Chargers’ offense. They now have Travis Benjamin, Tyrell Williams, Dontrelle Inman, and Isaiah Burse as the only 4 WR’s on the roster. And while they did restructure Rivers’ contract to free up some cap space and get under the cap...they still only have about $2.2 million in cap space to work with. Unless James Jones wants to come back for the vet minimum, the team might just be calling up Dom Williams from the practice squad.
Prayers going up for Keenan right now who looked like he was picking right up where he left off last year. Absolutely gutted...
