The San Diego Chargers will kick-off the season with a relatively healthy squad. Fans can take a major sigh of relief as no major contributors are on the list.

S Adrian Phillips
RB Andre Williams
C Max Tuerk
T Tyreek Burwell
G/T Kenny Wiggins
WR Isaiah Burse
NT Ryan Carrethers
If the Chargers get the ball first, it will be interesting to see who returns the kicks with Isaiah Burse not suiting up. Craig Mager did a solid job during the preseason and Danny Woodhead is usually on the kickoff team. Another interesting note is Adrian Phillips not playing today. This could allow preseason standout Dexter McCoil to see some playing time behind Dwight Lowery and Jahleel Addae.
Although he isn’t listed in the above tweet, Joey Bosa will not be playing today. Bosa is dealing with a hamstring injury and has yet to practice. Hopefully Bosa can get on the field next week so fans can get their first look at the top pick.

RB - J. Charles
QB - T. Bray
WR - D. Thomas
CB - K. Russell
CB - K. Acker
OL - B. Witzmann
DL - R. Nunez-Roches
Two Kansas City Chiefs stars will not be playing today. Jamaal Charles and Justin Houston are still recovering from injuries they suffered last season. This is a major blow for Kansas City. Charles is a workhorse running back who has ran all over the Chargers in the past. Houston on the other hand is one of the best pass rushers in the league. Dee Ford will have to pick up the slack and try to get to Philip Rivers. While Spencer Ware and Charcandrick West will be splitting carries while Charles is on the pine.
Heading into the game, the Chargers are probably the healthier team. Which is shocking because that is rarely the case with this organization. Hopefully the team can take advantage and steal a win on the road in Arrowhead.
