Open Thread: San Diego Chargers vs. San Francisco 49ers (Preseason)

The San Diego Chargers tonight host the San Francisco 49ers in the final preseason game. Most of the starters for both teams will play either sparingly or not at all. We will mostly be watching players compete for spots at the bottom of the 53-man roster or even just spots on the practice squad. The jobs that are most in doubt are the bottom of the depth chart at safety, wide receiver, offensive line, defensive line, and running back.

In general, though, there is very little on the line tonight that will have any real impact on the regular season for the Chargers. As usual in the preseason, we will spend the entirety of the game just hoping that nobody sustains any injuries.
