This preseason game against the Vikings had plenty of Chargers fans holding their breath, Joe Barksdale being rolled up on by teammate, Orlando Franklin, was one of those moments. Barksdale left the game after an apparent ankle injury. Barksdale was in pass protection when Orlando Franklin rolled up on his ankle from behind, which is always a scary moment. He was able to walk off the field on his own after trainers rushed to the field to check on him. Here’s what Barksdale tweeted out after the game:
Thanks for all the well wishes I'm gonna be just fine. Ready to get back to work and improve everyday that's what it's all about.

Barksdale was spotted during the game walking and joking with Rivers. Another good sign is that he was walking around after the game without a brace and with no signs of a serious injury. Barksdale started all 16 games for the Chargers in 2015 so his presence on the O-line will be important for the 2016 season.
