Darren Smith didn’t have a radio show today, but he happened to be in the radio studio today when news broke that the San Diego Chargers had pulled their final offer off of the table (and sent their plane home?) after it was initially rejected by 1st Round draft pick Joey Bosa and his representatives.
That was lucky for me, because I was able to convince Darren to jump in the podcast studio with me to discuss what the move means for the Chargers front office, what it means for Bosa, what the meaning of the plane was, and how it will affect the team in the short-term and long-term.

It’s probably worth noting, considering how quickly this story is developing, that this podcast was recorded on Wednesday at about noon.
