As we all have heard by now, WR Stevie Johnson has a torn meniscus and will be undergoing "a procedure." Ballcoach McCoy said yesterday that there will be a better estimate on his return after this procedure is done.
But the Chargers are not sitting idly by for those results.
In addition to James Jones' visit to San Diego, I'm told they are also working out former #Browns WR Brian Hartline today.

Hartline is definitely more of a complementary receiver but is 3 years younger than Jones. Hartline will be there to move the sticks, but his touchdown production suggests he is not going to bring much to the red-zone offense.
The fact that they are working out two veterans this soon tells me that Stevie is not coming back anytime soon, which is a shame. However, with how much young WR talent is currently on the roster unless they think they can get Jones or Hartline for cheap, I think they should give the young kids a chance.
