Joey Bosa is still not in Chargers camp. The No. 3 overall pick remains mired in a bitter contract standoff with the Bolts that threatens to wipe out Bosa's rookie year and permanently damage the relationship between the two sides. This is so stupid. How stupid? Here are 10 things that are stupid, but not as stupid, as Joey Bosa's current contract stalemate with the San Diego Chargers.

"Maybe my favorite play of the day was a comeback I threw to Travis in one-on-ones," Rivers said. "Not that it was a great throw or anything like that, but it was just one of those that I had to throw early, he got out of [the break] with the timing and made the catch.

The good news is that Melvin Gordon, the 15th overall pick in 2015, scored his first NFL touchdown. The bad news is it came in the first preseason game of 2016. Still, if it's a sign of things to come, it would be a boost for a Chargers team that ranked 31st in rushing last season.

Like Dallas, the Chargers look primed to bounce back. San Diego certainly wasn't as good as Dallas in 2014, but they were a roughly .500 team for five straight years before things collapsed to 4-12 last season. There isn't a huge difference between those .500 teams and the Chargers today, and there's a strong and important similarity: Philip Rivers.
