The San Diego Chargers kick off their preseason schedule today with a trip to Nashville, Tennessee. They will be welcomed by the Tennessee Titans led by Marcus Mariota.

It’s hard to say how much we will see of any of the starters, but the real reason you’re watching preseason games is to see who wins the spots at the back of the 53-man roster anyway.

Keep your eyes on the position battles at fullback, safety, and wide receiver, in particular. There is talent at all of those positions that will not make the team. See who will make the final cut.
