Well, Michael Silver of NFL Network, reported via Twitter that Stevie Johnson may have suffered a torn meniscus and could be headed toward surgery soon:
I'm told by a source familiar with Chargers WR Stevie Johnson's knee injury that he has a torn meniscus & will have surgery soon @nflnetwork

Depending on the severity of a meniscus tear, a player can be expected to miss anywhere from four weeks to several months with recovery. There is still uncertainty as to the severity of Johnson's injury, as Silver tweets:
At this point I'm told it's unclear whether knee surgery for a torn meniscus will end Chargers WR Stevie Johnson's season

Well, there's nothing quite like potentially losing a starting wide receiver for the season on day two of training camp. Hopefully, Johnson is only going to miss the beginning of the season, but if he's out for the year, at least Tyrell Williams has been showing well this offseason because the Chargers are going to need him.
