NFL: Team's Odds to Make the Playoffs - Rob Trites
The AFC West is pretty much up in the air after an offseason that saw the defending Super Bowl Champion Broncos seriously downgrade at the QB position. The Chargers have been tagged with the longest odds (+350) to make it out of what has the chance to be the most competitive division in pro football. I fully expect San Diego to vastly improve on their 2015 4-12 record and compete for the AFC West title.

An In-Depth Look at Corey Liuget - Chargers.com
The Chargers’ first-round pick in 2011, Liuget was San Diego’s Defensive Player of the Year in 2012. In 2013, he led the team in sacks, tackles for loss, quarterback pressures and quarterback hits. He played some of his best football down the stretch in helping the Chargers reach the playoffs for the first time since 2009. He collected six of his team-leading 10 tackles for loss in the last six games and in the Chargers’ Wild Card Playoff win in Cincinnati, he led the line in tackles, while also contributing a sack, a tackle for loss, a pass defensed and a quarterback hit.

Ex-Charger gets football fix as official - Don Norcross (UT$)
"When things end abruptly, it leaves a bad taste with the sport," said Moreno, who lives in Serra Mesa and works as a project manager for a construction company. "There’s a grieving process. It takes time to find the love again."

Chargers' stadium hopes take punch to gut - Kevin Acee (UT$)
California’s two-thirds requirement for tax hikes is a political Mount Everest. Here, given the current climate of some 60 percent of potential voters being opposed to public funds being used for a stadium, it is more like climbing to the moon on a stairway of pixie dust.
