Last week, we asked you which offseason acquisition by the San Diego Chargers would have the biggest impact on the upcoming NFL season. A plurality of you (30% of the 912 voters) gave the nod to interior offensive lineman Matt Slauson, whom Tom Telesco signed after he was released by the Chicago Bears.
After Slauson, there was a substantial drop to and a virtual tie for second place. Rookie defensive end Joey Bosa and veteran nose tackle Brandon Mebane both received 24% of your votes. It's possible that the defensive linemen split the vote a bit and that's why Slauson finished in first, but it's tough to argue with the result.
The top three vote-getters accounted for 78% of the vote and the remaining offseason acquisitions were all in single digits with Travis Benjamin (8%) and Hunter Henry (6%) taking the majority of the remaining votes.
Thanks to everyone who voted in the poll.
