2016 Training Camp Preview: Wide Receivers - Ricky Henne
Fans have waited to see KA13 back on the field ever since his Week 8 kidney injury cut short what looked destined to be one of the greatest seasons ever by a wide receiver. His 67 catches through eight games were the third most in NFL history, and he was on pace for a 143 catch season. That mark would have shattered LaDainian Tomlinson’s team record of 100 set in 2003.

Chargers must allay fears with good faith effort - Kevin Acee (UT$)
(This goes beyond the initiative’s language that says it "would not impose any obligation on the city to pay for operations and maintenance and capital costs for the convention center expansion and stadium out of the general fund." Not "imposing an obligation" doesn’t necessarily mean the city couldn’t have to find a way to fund a potential shortfall.)
Joey Bosa contract impasse lingers - Mike Florio
So why hasn’t he signed his rookie deal? Bosa reportedly has dug in on the topic of offsets and cash flow, two of the only items that can still be negotiated under the rookie wage scale adopted five years ago. With the four-year rookie deals now fully guaranteed at the top of the draft, some players want to keep all the money in the event they’re cut, and also to pocket whatever they make elsewhere. The teams want credit for money made elsewhere during the balance of the four years, as an offset.
Joey Bosa holdout not ugly — yet - Michael Gehlken (UT$)
The No. 3 overall pick and starting left defensive end has missed just three days of actual on-field work. One was the Chargers' 10th and final organized team activity (OTA) on June 9. That practice was voluntary. The other two came during a mandatory minicamp on June 14 and 15. None of the three practices were in pads.
